Ganesh — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-28
Ganesh is a personal assistant application operated by and for its owner. It is not a commercial service, has no public users, and collects no data from anyone other than its operator.
What data is accessed
With the operator's explicit Google OAuth consent, Ganesh reads the operator's own Gmail (read-only) and Calendar in order to answer the operator's questions and draft messages. Email is sent or drafted only on the operator's explicit instruction, through a human-approval flow.
Where data is stored
All data remains on infrastructure the operator controls — a private server and the operator's personal computer. Nothing is sold, shared, or used for advertising. There are no analytics or tracking mechanisms.
Third parties
Language-model processing is performed by AI providers operating under zero-data-retention agreements; no data is used for model training. Google receives API traffic as part of normal Gmail and Calendar API use, governed by Google's privacy policy.
Deletion and revocation
All stored data can be deleted by removing files from the operator's own server. Google account access can be revoked at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions.
